Work Experience

I have personally held a multitude of different jobs in my working career. Each job has taught me something and allowed me to grow. I have held jobs ranging from Construction to Sales and each one has has given me something different that i have been able to incorporate into my working life. With all of these different jobs i do feel as though i can bring a different attitude and culture to any company and showcase skills that i have picked along the way to be a valuable asset to any company.

Engineered Quality Assembly

Engineered Quality Assembly was the first job i ever held. I worked here for two summers my junior year and senior year in High School. The construction company is owned by my Uncles Ray and Matt Richard. It turned out to be the most Labor intensive job that i have held to date. Working here helped me to develop an intense work ethic. We got up at 6am most times we worked till dark. My job responsibilities mainly included carrying materials up and down flights of stairs, setting up toilet partitions, working on pallet rack systems. My fondest memory of working here was the work we did on a pallet rack system in a cork warehouse that was kept a steady temperature above 100 degrees and taking breaks outside in 90 degree weather was the highlight of our day.

Arbys

I worked here my freshman year in college. Working here taught me how to work fast. Fast Food is very demanding this job. I was a sandwich prep cook i made all the sandwiches . During rush hour that taought me very quickly that you have to be fast when working.

7T Express Lube

I started working here the summer of my freshman year in college. My Jobs here was Lube Technician. I really enjoyed the culture of the company it was very laid back but everyone was responsible enough to our jobs. It was my first real exposure to working with mechanics. Working here taught me how to work fast but also how important it is to have a company culture that you agree with.

Tyson Manufacturing Plant

I worked at tyson the summer of my sophomore year. This job was very demanding physically. I learned how to be more efficient by watching how the systems in the plant all worked together. There was no wasted motions watching these systems day after day helped me to realize how efficient you must be as an individual in order to attain you maximum output.

Furniture Factory Outlet

This was my first shot at Sales. At Furniture Factory Outlet i held an inside sales position. Here my job duties included taking payments, selling furniture and attaining financing for customers. This was my first real professional businesss type job. Working here helped me grow by leaps and bounds It got me over the fear of walking up to customers and making conversation. I attended several training seminars, weekly meetings and weekly sales goal settings. I learned from working here about customer habits, public speaking and to give effective presentations to strangers.

Friendship Community Care

When I worked here i did not really feel as though there was anything that i could learn but working here taught me a great amount of patience. Friendship Community Care is a non profit organization that works with mentally disabled individuals to give these people chances to live as normal life as possible. My job duties included taking my consumer out to games, play basketball, food shopping, eating and host of different activities.

N.E.W National Extended Warranty

This was the most recent job that i have held. N.E.W is an extended warranty company. The job was to Take inbound calls and handle things relating to customers extended warranty. The skill i picked up while working here was conflict management. Most of the calls we take are angry customers whose products have failed or service is taking to long on their product. So you have to work fast while figuring out the product and diffusing the situation with customer.
